On May 11, ahead of the 17th National Disaster Prevention and Reduction Day, the China Fire and Rescue Institute and the People's Government of Changping District, Beijing, jointly held the 2025 Disaster Prevention and Reduction Publicity Week Campus Open Day. With the theme "Everyone Speaks Safety, Everyone Knows Emergency Response — Identify Hidden Disaster Hazards Around You", the event offered more than 40 popular science and interactive experience programs across three major categories: disaster prevention and reduction knowledge, film screenings, and hands-on activities.
As an important force in the emergency communications field, Caltta was invited to showcase a variety of fire rescue emergency communication equipment, promoting disaster prevention and reduction knowledge to the public, demonstrating the value of emergency communications at disaster sites, raising public awareness of emergency preparedness, and enhancing self-rescue and mutual aid capabilities. This also highlighted Caltta's technological innovation and social responsibility in the emergency communications sector.
At the event, Caltta's well-designed static exhibition zone and interactive experience area drew significant attention.
Through immersive design combining "scenario simulation + hands-on operation," the exhibition helped visitors gain a deeper understanding of the full integration between private network communication technology and fire rescue scenarios.
Caltta showcased flexible networking solutions for four core equipment systems:
The portable dual-device triple-screen intelligent dispatch platform provided an "all-in-one" decision-making hub;
The sMesh broadband ad hoc network enabled second-level return of high-definition video streams;
SmartLink narrowband ad hoc networking ensured delivery of critical voice commands even in disconnected environments;
The backpack-style command system created a broadband mobile command post.
This four-dimensional collaborative "broadband and narrowband integrated combat system" successfully demonstrated full-domain audio and video collaboration under complex fire rescue conditions, providing reliable communication support for firefighting operations.
The iCS C500a is deployed at emergency command sites during disaster rescue operations. Operating independently in isolated conditions, it integrates the iCS server and dispatch console, visualizing data such as voice, video, and location. It supports integrated communications, command dispatch, and unified management of various operations.
Supports decentralized, autonomous dynamic node routing in a wireless conventional co-channel simulcast ad hoc networking solution. It enables quick deployment of large-scale long-distance wireless communication networks in complex environments without relying on external networks.
Utilizes centerless co-frequency networking technology and a distributed network architecture. It supports any network topology and multi-hop relays, providing reliable, timely, efficient, and secure full-IP services such as clear voice and broadband data in non-line-of-sight and fast-moving conditions.
The P300 boots with one button, requiring no configuration. It automatically completes network deployment and supports LTE-based professional trunking calls, multimedia dispatch, real-time video return, GIS positioning, and full-duplex audio and video communication.
Includes multi-mode terminals, digital trunking terminals, and explosion-proof terminals, adaptable to various rescue communication scenarios. These meet the demands for highly reliable voice dispatch and secure communications in complex and harsh environments.
Through this showcase, Caltta presented the core value of technology in fire rescue operations with professional equipment displays and interactive on-site experiences. Looking forward, the company will continue to deeply cultivate emergency communication technologies, focus on actual fire rescue needs, and drive the intelligent and miniaturized upgrading of communication equipment, striving to protect the "lifeline" at disaster scenes and provide strong communication support for firefighting operations.
