Multidimensional Integration Intelligent Communication: Caltta Debuts at the Beijing-Nanjing International Urban Rail Transit Exhibition

June 13-15, the "Diverse Integration, High-Quality Sustainable Development" 2024 Beijing-Nanjing International Urban Rail Transit Exhibition and Summit Forum, organized by the China Urban Rail Transit Association, successfully concluded. Caltta, together with ZTE Corporation and ZTE System Technologies, jointly participated in the exhibition with the theme "Innovative Path of Cloud-Network Integration, New Urban Rail in the Era of Digital Intelligence," fully showcasing core technological capabilities and the latest application achievements in the field of smart transportation, promoting the development of urban rail transit towards a greener and more intelligent direction.


During the exhibition, nearly a hundred clients and partners, including the China Urban Rail Transit Association, urban rail owners, integrators, and design institutes, visited the booth for in-depth exchanges on practical achievements, experiences, and ideas in urban rail digital construction.

Caltta focuses on vehicle-to-ground wireless communication, continuously innovating. This exhibition highlighted next-generation intelligent vehicle control wireless communication, intelligent station active DAS, 5G multimedia cluster scheduling, and emergency communication innovative solutions.


LTE Vehicle-to-Ground Wireless Solution


To meet the requirements of next-generation intelligent vehicle control systems, Caltta launched the LTE vehicle-to-ground wireless solution based on a distributed core network, which was successfully applied in April 2024 to the Qingdao Metro Line 6 (TACS) national demonstration project, receiving high praise from clients. The simplified distributed core network and BBU co-frame deployment enhance system reliability, providing strong support for "vehicle-to-vehicle" communication.

Intelligent Station Active DAS


Based on the 1.8G active DAS QCell solution, it deepens hall coverage, supports reporting of station operator handset positions, and deeply integrates voice, data, video, location, and intelligent station applications, enhancing the intelligence level of station operation and management. It has been successfully commercialized in the construction of smart stations in Beijing.

5G Multimedia Cluster Scheduling


5G multimedia cluster scheduling realizes the integration of voice, video, location, and service flows, achieving business linkage and precise scheduling through the inherent positioning capabilities of 5G.


Emergency Communication


In response to special emergency scenarios such as large passenger flows at stations and tunnel rescues, as a supplement to existing fixed communication networks, Caltta provides a broadband sMesh self-organizing network solution. The self-organizing network can support no less than 64 nodes, with arbitrary topology, automatic frequency tuning, one-key boot-up, and second-level network access, meeting the audio and video emergency scheduling communication needs of front and rear operations.


Caltta is one of the earliest companies involved in Private LTE technology urban rail transit trials and the development of LTE-M standards, actively promoting the commercial application of LTE-M standards. To date, Caltta's LTE vehicle-to-ground wireless system has been successfully applied to more than 70 rail transit lines in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Chongqing, Xi'an, Qingdao, and other cities, supporting services including CBTC signaling, cluster dispatch, passenger information system, onboard video return, vehicle status information, and more, achieving full coverage of vehicle-to-ground communication services in the metro industry.
