Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport has built an internal wired and wireless network to provide network services for various operating systems of the airport. In recent years, with the rapid development of Baiyun International Airport and the construction of the expansion project, all resident units and companies need convenient and fast access to the service at any time, anywhere, as well as the use of a large number of mobile smart terminals, and demand for large-capacity and high-bandwidth communications in emergencies.
There is an urgent need to build a broadband wireless private network covering all the working areas of the airport including the airport terminal, the apron, the runway and taxiway, and other areas. At the same time, it should realize the real-time supervision and dynamic dispatch for the airport information maintenance department:
The current dispatching situation of voice PTT and paperwork orders is gradually becoming the bottleneck for the airport to strengthen standardized management and efficient operation;
As a complement to fixed video supervision, the wireless visual emergency dispatching system can well supplement and improve the airport emergency processing platform;
It is very urgent to promote the broadbandization and omnipresence of the airport information network.
Five base stations were built in Phase I, covering the airport area, to meet the use of ground service handling, logistics, flight service, air service, security inspection, monitoring, luggage, and other departments, and to realize the connection with the airport GIS system. The terminals include GH880 smart radio, CPE, MIFI and other different types of terminals. Among them, GH880 is customized with NFC bracket, which is installed on vehicles through NFC bracket to realize vehicle management and other services.
Based on the characteristics of the large bandwidth of ITU B-TrunC system, the wireless broadband digital trunking dispatching system can uniformly carry multimedia services such as voice, video, picture and data, improving the integration of airport information system, and enriching the dispatching services of various departments of the airport.
The open system architecture can be interconnected with the airport OA system, PSTN, TETRA, A-CDM, video supervision and other systems, and can be accessed with various terminals, including smart terminals, PADs, fixed phones, fixed or mobile video cameras, to improve the efficiency of communication, coordination, command and dispatch of airport staff.
