April, 2025 | Seongnam, South Korea — Caltta, a leading provider of digital communication solutions, partnered with local distributor Touchon Network Inc to host the first-ever Caltta Dealer Conference in South Korea at the MILITOPIA Hotel in Seongnam. Under the theme “Intelligent Connectivity for All Scenarios,” the event brought together 15 key dealers and industry stakeholders to explore Caltta’s latest DMR innovations and strategic market offerings.

This milestone event marked a significant step forward in strengthening Caltta’s presence in the South Korean market and deepening collaboration with local partners.

The inaugural conference featured a comprehensive presentation delivered by the Touchon Networks team, spotlighting Caltta’s DMR product line and critical communications solutions. The session received highly positive feedback from attendees, who praised the practicality and innovation of Caltta’s offerings. The event also provided Caltta with valuable insights into the specific needs of dealers and the dynamics of the local market. It played a vital role in enhancing Caltta’s brand awareness and dealer engagement in the country.

One of the highlights of the event was the live demonstration of Caltta’s Ad-Hoc mesh networking solution, which redefines emergency communications. Designed for infrastructure-free deployment, the Ad-Hoc solution supports up to 256 nodes and can be activated with a single button. It is particularly suited for mission-critical scenarios such as natural disasters, remote rural operations, and temporary field setups. The system leverages military-grade dynamic routing algorithms to ensure 99.9% uptime—even when up to 30% of nodes are lost—far exceeding the reliability of conventional static network architectures. The solution can extend coverage through man-pack wireless links, making it ideal for areas such as forests, mountains, rivers, and other hard-to-reach terrains. Whether installed on vehicles or carried by personnel, the Ad-Hoc system enables truly dynamic and flexible networking.

Another focus area was Caltta’s Active-Link wireless backhaul solution. This technology is engineered for areas where wired IP infrastructure is not feasible. It enables back-to-back wireless connectivity, making it a powerful tool for linking facilities across challenging terrains like hills or riverbanks. The solution allows seamless roaming across up to 16 sites and facilitates multi-site communication without physical cabling, offering organizations both agility and simplicity in expanding their communication coverage.

Caltta also presented its updated DMR product portfolio, designed for cost-effective, rugged, and high-performance communications. The DH460 handheld radio delivers extended battery life with a 2,500mAh capacity. Meanwhile, the DM660 mobile radio supports both DMR Tier II and analog systems, offering a compact industrial design with a 1.75-inch screen and keypad interface. Optional features such as GPS and recording provide added functionality, while a 6-watt speaker ensures clear audio in noisy environments. The DM660 also supports the Ad-Hoc mode, making it suitable for vehicle-mounted deployments in mobile and field operations.

The success of the 2025 Dealer Conference underscored Caltta’s commitment to deepening relationships with South Korean partners and advancing intelligent communications. Caltta continues to grow its international footprint, South Korea remains a key market for collaboration, innovation, and mission-critical communication excellence.
