Caltta Participates in “Emergency Mission 2025” to Demonstrate Advanced Rescue Capabilities in Extreme Disaster Scenarios

On June 24, the "Emergency Mission 2025" national drill was held simultaneously across Heilongjiang, Henan, and Guangdong provinces, co-organized by the National Commission for Disaster Prevention, Reduction and Relief and the State Council Work Safety Committee, and jointly hosted by the Ministry of Emergency Management, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China Media Group, and the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province.

The drill was designed to tackle critical challenges in emergency response under extreme disaster conditions, simulating four key scenarios:

  • Emergency rescue under road, network, and power outages.

  • Large-scale forest fires in remote primary forest zones.

  • Emergency response to explosions and fires in large storage tanks.

  • High-rise urban building fires.

As a core force in the mission-critical communications sector, Caltta played an active role in both the main exercise and pre-drill capability assessments. Caltta focused on emergency communication support and the development of next-generation rescue capabilities, continuously injecting technological momentum into the modernization of China's emergency management system.

During the technical evaluation of rescue capabilities in "no road, no network, no power" environments, Caltta focused on forward-deployed communications support. In cooperation with the Chongqing National Mine Rescue Team and Guizhou Jonyang Heavy Industry, Caltta successfully conducted multi-scenario validation across amphibious terrains. Rescue vehicles were equipped with Caltta's LTE backpack emergency command system and broadband ad hoc mesh network. These systems enabled the vehicles to traverse complex terrain—such as deep water and marshlands—while quickly establishing stable communication links between frontline rescue sites and the rear command center. This fulfilled the operational objective of "connectivity before rescue", significantly enhancing signal penetration and response efficiency in extreme disaster environments.

During the large-scale forest fire suppression operation in remote forest regions, Caltta provided stable and efficient communication support to forest firefighting teams across various locations. The exercise simulated a scenario in which multiple large-scale forest fires broke out in the Greater Khingan Mountains of Heilongjiang Province, triggered by concentrated lightning strikes. Given the complex terrain and communication challenges in the operational area, the mission demanded a highly reliable wireless networking system to ensure effective command and dispatch throughout the firefighting efforts.

Equipped with Caltta's ultra-high frequency (UHF) ad-hoc networking system and handheld terminals, forest firefighting teams rapidly deployed fixed stations and backpack base stations to establish a stable communication network covering the core fire zone. This enabled seamless voice communication and rapid dispatch of commands across multiple teams and operational areas, significantly improving firefighting efficiency and personnel safety. The system features a hybrid fixed-mobile architecture, tiered deployment, on-demand access, and scalable expansion, fully tailored to the demanding communication requirements of forest fire operations and delivering end-to-end connectivity throughout the firefighting process.

Caltta remains committed to driving innovation in private network communications through an integrated and intelligent development approach, empowering the modernization of the national emergency response system. Looking ahead, the company will continue to focus on the emergency communication needs of high-risk scenarios, advancing the deep integration of communication systems with rescue equipment. By delivering more agile, flexible, and secure communication solutions, Caltta aims to ensure rapid response and efficient coordination during extreme disaster events. In collaboration with emergency forces at all levels and strategic partners, Caltta will continue to push the boundaries of technology—safeguarding lives and jointly shaping a new blueprint for the future of emergency communications.
