Caltta at the Third Public Security Tech Expo

[Lianyungang, China-September 11, 2026]-Caltta Technologies showcased its fully converged portfolio of public security communication solutions at the Third Public Security Tech Expo in Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province, which was held on September 7, 2026.

Organized by the First Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) of P.R.China, the exhibition brought together more than 100 leading enterprises in public security and police equipment, showcasing the industry's latest innovations and practical applications.

As a leading provider of critical communication solutions, Caltta showcased its end-to-end public safety solution portfolio at the expo. The offering enables the deep integration of advanced communications into front-line law enforcement operations, delivering flexible and highly efficient public safety communications, emergency response and on-site dispatch capabilities in complex scenarios.

  • 01 Broadband and Narrowband Convergence for Sharper Dispatch

To address the multi-scenario and multi-service communication needs of public security authorities, Caltta offers a broadband-narrowband convergence solution spanning systems, terminals and applications. Anchored by a unified dispatch platform and a unified core network, the solution interoperates seamlessly with narrowband DMR/PDT and broadband LTE Trunking networks, and supports a wide range of device-including AI noise-cancelling terminals, surveillance cameras and body-worn cameras-for unified access and dispatch across multiple wireless technologies.

The Beijing Municipal Government has deployed a 350 MHz PDT and 1.4 GHz LTE broadband-narrowband convergence network, which has provided reliable communications support for major events including the 80th World Anti-Fascist War Victory Parade, the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, and the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

  • 02 Public and Private Collaborative Network Eliminates Coverage Blind Spots

To close DMR/PDT coverage gaps in indoor areas, on elevated roads, in tunnels and in suburban zones, Caltta uses standard protocols to enable service-level interworking between its eChat PoC system and DMR/PDT systems. The combined solution brings together the stability and security of private networks with the wide-area coverage and rich service portfolio of public networks, offering a flexible approach to filling coverage blind spots in police communications.

Caltta's eChat public network trunking system has passed both the MPS's PDT interoperability certification and its security encryption certification. It is now deployed with public security agencies across multiple provinces, supporting PDT coverage supplementation, mobile video collection, community-based prevention and control, and daily law enforcement communications.

  • 03 MCX: Next-Gen Mission-Critical Communications for Public Safety

Caltta delivers an end-to-end MCX (Mission Critical Services) solution compliant with 3GPP standards for public safety. The portfolio includes MCX server, client software and terminals, offering standardized MCPTT, MCVideo and MCData services over LTE and 5G networks. It supports seamless interworking with legacy DMR/TETRA systems, featuring millisecond-level group call setup, robust QoS prioritization and local operation capabilities to maintain local connectivity even when the core network fails.

  • 04 Air-Space-Ground Coordination for Communications in Extreme Scenarios

To meet the demands of extreme disasters, large-scale security operations and sudden incidents, Caltta has built a air-space-ground integrated emergency communication solution. On the ground, DMR and LTE private network base stations, together with communication vehicles, form the on-site communication backbone, extending voice and data to the front line. In the air, UAVs carry video and voice ad hoc networking devices to overcome complex terrain constraints and expand on-site communication coverage.

Caltta's broadband and narrowband ad hoc systems have been deployed at both the MPS and the Beijing Public Security Bureau, providing flexible, rapid networking for public security emergency response.

  • 05 Converged Communication: Breaking Information Silos for Coordinated Dispatch

Built on standard-compliant protocols, Caltta's Integrated Communications system  enables interconnection and unified dispatch across isolated systems — DMR/PDT narrowband trunking, LTE broadband trunking, PoC, video surveillance, video conferencing and wired telephony — breaking down the barriers between different communication networks.

The system supports cascading networking and web-based APIs, along with a mobile app that can be deployed on police terminals and tablets. It meets the needs of multi-level command and dispatch, making communication and dispatching more convenient and intuitive.

  • Continuing to Deepen Integration of Communications and Policing

This Expo underscores Caltta's continued commitment to advancing critical communications for public safety. Looking ahead, as policing demands evolve and grow more complex, Caltta will keep driving the integration of AI into policing operations. With frontline-focused products and solutions, Caltta is poised to bring new momentum to smart policing and public safety.
